Sportingbet Australia has obligations under its Northern Territory
license to take all reasonable steps to ensure that its customers are complying
with laws in their own country when they transact with Sportingbet Australia. We
refer to Rule 19 of Sportingbet Australia Rules which states:
Sportingbet does not warrant or imply that participation in wagers
complies with the legal requirements of any state or country other than the Northern
Territory. Clients must satisfy themselves (and assume full responsibility) for
the legality of:
- Applying to Sportingbet for a Client Betting Account;
- Remitting funds by credit card or other permitted means to a Client Betting account
held with Sportingbet;
- Placement of wagers with Sportingbet and,
- Receiving winnings from Sportingbet.
We are aware that it maybe illegal for you to undertake the activities set out in
(a) through (d) above. Accordingly, we are not able to offer you an account to place
wagers with Sportingbet Australia.
